With so many fantastic applications for Mac OS X, it's hard to decide which ones should stay in your Dock all the time, and sometimes it has just been easier to have a permanently cluttered Dock with applications that are not often running. Finally, there is a solution!
Using Docks is simple: take a Snapshot, which is a list of all the apps and files in your Dock, and restore it later, which puts your Dock to the exact same state it was when you took your snapshot.
With the new Docks 2.0, we've added Spaces integration, so now you can set a Snapshot to automagically be restored back to your Dock whenever you land on a specific Space. Select the Snapshot in the main window, choose the Space it should be activated by, and sit back and let Docks do the rest!
Now, you can have a Dock for work, a Dock for play, and a Dock for whatever your heart desires! With Docks, it's easy to create a Snapshot of your current Dock, and switch back to it whenever you'd like.
